Columbine 'Nora Barlow'

Aquilegia vulgaris 'Nora Barlow'

It blooms alongside other columbines in spring, but the dark, layered flowers give it a more dramatic character.

I like this one as a solo set amongst emerging spring foliage.

Gone by year 4. Plan the succession.
