Tufted Hair Grass
Deschampsia cespitosa
This is my favourite grass and my toughest sell. The low foliage and wispy plumes are not showy in a pot, but in the garden they add movement and texture like no other plant.
I use this grass often to add movement and a hazy mist across a planting.
Going strong at five years.
