Immersive gardens often look effortless, but they rely on planning and structure.
The garden I wanted wasn't going to emerge from random plantings. Plants are a big investment, and hoping they work together isn't a design strategy.
I learned this the hard way, jumping from one idea to the next. You don't have to. Work through these stages in order.

The framework has four stages: Canvas, Pathways & Pauses, Design Blocks, and Connecting Blocks. Each builds on the one before it, so resist the temptation to skip ahead to choosing plants.
