I started with wholesale plugs and ended up growing my own plants from seed. That started me on the path to understand what a perennial plant really is.

This guide covers why I reduced my palette to 80 plants and why each one earned its place. It also includes a full glossary of the industry terms that aren’t clear to home gardeners.
